Tresorit is a Swiss company that sells end-to-end encrypted cloud storage. Files are encrypted before they leave the device, and sharing is by a link or by inviting another Tresorit user. The product is used for confidential documents by individuals and by businesses.
A personal plan and a business plan differ by storage size, by how users are administered, and by controls such as who may open a link. Those limits are on Tresorit’s pricing page. End-to-end encryption means Tresorit cannot read the file contents in the way an ordinary cloud drive can, which also means a forgotten password can make the files unrecoverable if the plan has no recovery key.
The desktop and mobile apps sync selected folders. A shared link follows the permission set when it was created, including an expiry or a password if one was added.
