Skechers sells casual and work shoes for adults and children. The line includes sneakers, slip-on shoes it calls Hands Free Slip-ins, and shoes for walking or for a job that needs a specific sole. Comfort is the point of the last and the insole, more than a fashion season.
A Slip-in, a laced sneaker, and a work shoe are different fits. Width, where Skechers offers it, is marked on the shoe. Kids’ sizes are a separate scale. The product page shows the size range and whether that style is machine washable, which many Skechers shoes are and some are not.
Arch Fit and other insole names are specific models, not a feature of every pair. The size chart and the width on that style are what to match, because a Slip-in does not fit the same as a laced shoe in the same nominal size.
