Kaspersky sells antivirus and internet-security software for Windows, Mac, and Android. A product scans for malware and, depending on the edition, adds a firewall, password tools, or a VPN. Those extras are part of specific suites, not of every Kaspersky download.
Kaspersky Standard, Plus, and Premium, or the names the site is using now, differ by how many devices they cover and which extras they include. The comparison table on Kaspersky’s site is the list that matters. A Windows license does not install on a phone unless that edition includes the phone app. Renewal is a separate term from the first year.
The download that matches the operating system is on the product page after purchase. Protection is only current while the license is active and the malware database is allowed to update.
