Fortect sells a Windows program that scans a PC and can repair what the scan finds. On its own site it describes checks for malware, junk files, damaged system files, and outdated drivers. The repair step replaces damaged Windows files from Fortect’s library and removes the junk it flagged.
A scan and a repair are not the same purchase. Fortect offers a scan that can be run before paying, and the repair actions sit behind a license. The program is for Windows. Companion apps for phones are a different product from the PC suite, even when they share the Fortect name.
What the scan lists depends on that computer. A license repairs the machine it is activated on, and the product page is where the Windows versions and the difference between the free scan and the paid repair are written.
